How to Install Netbeans on a Windows 7 Machine

The steps below may also work on Windows 8 machines.

Download the jdk-7u55-nb-8-windows-x64.exe file from the link below and double-click it to install the file.

Download the netbeans-8.0-windows.exe file by going to the link below and clicking the Download button under the All column. Then double-click this file to install it.
Make sure that the Platform: dropdown in the upper-right says Windows!
